SenseAnywhere Accessories

Access Points

There are 4 variations of the SenseAnywhere AccessPoint available, listed below. The SenseAnywhere AccessPoint is an economic and reliable plug and play device that enables the wireless sensors to be connected to the cloud portal SA Client.

Indoor Access Point

It's very simple to use the indoor access point to connect the sensors to the cloud via WiFi, which allows for a 2-way communication between the sensors and the cloud. A sensor automatically discovers SenseAnywhere AccessPoints at any given location and transmits its data to the central database.

Outdoor Access Point

The outdoor AccessPoint is of course for situations where you need to monitor outdoors, or if you live in an environment which might affect the standard AccessPoint such as dusty environments.

Mobile AccessPoint

With the mobile Access Point, your loggers are connected to the internet (2G and 3G) and have a GPS receiver module, which makes it possible for you to locate your sensors in real-time.

Mobile AccessPoint Without GPS

Same as the mobile access point but without the GPS receiver.

Pt-100 probe

In spite of its ability to operate in ultra-low temperature environments down to -200°C, this smart probe is also capable of operating at temperatures as high as 200°C, and it is specially designed for monitoring cryogenic applications down to -200°C. The digital interface allows this probe (with an individual serial number) and integrated electronics to be calibrated. The class A wire wound ceramic Pt100 sensor provides accurate measurements over the broad temperature range. Calibrated SAB sensors can be easily hot swapped offering a big advantage and significant savings in terms of recalibrating the sensors.

Hermetically Sealed Pt100 Probe

The Hermetically Sealed Pt100 Probe excels in measuring extreme differences in temperatures in liquid substances (-90 °C to 250 °C) and has a 5-meter cable. In addition to being resistant to aggressive substances, the Pt100 Probe is waterproof, easy to clean, and highly reliable.

Pt-100 Interface

The Pt-100 smart probe interface features a digital interface for the SenseAnywhere Bus that has been specially designed to be used with the SenseAnywhere Monitoring System to connect a 4-wire Pt100 probe.

Input Modules

It is a possibility to expand on the capabilities of the AiroSensor data loggers using the SenseAnywhere modules. There are several modules available, summarised below.

0-10V and 4-20mA Input Modules

The SenseAnywhere 0-10V and 4-20mA Input Modules are a smart piece of technology that enables digital measurements for all analogue products with a 0-10V or 4-20mA outputs. The Input Module offers limitless possibilities, as all analogue equipment with can be monitored digitally with high accuracy, allowing for the measurement of CO2, pressure, and the number of dust particles in cleanrooms, among other things.

The modules can be calibrated because the electronics in the connector is the instrument used to determine the measured value. Meaning only the Input Module needs to be calibrated, not the AiroSensor model 20-20-43 to which it is connected for reliable analogue measurements.

Temperature Only Module

From SenseAnywhere, the Temp only module is a small connector with a lot of potential. The module allows you to accurately monitor temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. This powerful temperature only sensor is exceptionally suitable for temperature measurement in dynamic environments due to the fact that the sensor is directly exposed to the environment and has little material surrounding it. The module has a fast response time because the sensor is exposed directly to the environment and has minimal material surrounding it.

The AiroSensor model 20-20-43 with the Module installed can be used to perform accurate and straightforward mapping of refrigerators and freezers, as well as small cold stores and cargo spaces within vehicles. A Temp only Module can also be used for field reference measurements as it meets the highest accuracy class of the EN12830:2018 standard for data loggers over its full temperature range. In addition, the module meets the highest accuracy class (0.2°C) of the EN12830:2018 standard.

Due to the quick response time of this module, the module can be placed beside a data logger in order to verify its measurements at the same time as it performs its task without causing downtime.

Temperature & Humidity Module

A key feature of the module is that it has the added capability of RH measurement, between 0-99%RH (non-condensing) and can monitor temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. The instrument is highly suitable for measuring temperature and relative humidity in environments that are dynamic.

AssetTag

With the AssetTag, you are able to easily replace a data logger that is out of calibration with another, without having to reconfigure it, adjust alarms and reports, or leave data behind. The tag is the constant element, and loggers provide data to the tag, so they can be swapped around from one logger to another. The SaClient software allows you to monitor conditions continuously using the AssetTags.

An AssetTag is not restricted to one particular data logger, and a data logger can be swapped (with a recently calibrated or new one) at any time. It does not matter which data logger is linked to it. It is important to know that the AssetTag keeps working as intended. As a result, you have a complete record of your goods. Here is a video that illustrates how to set it up.

AiroSensor SwitchHolder

By using the SenseAnywhere SwitchHolder, you are able to turn off your AiroSensor's programmed alarm function with a single slide. If you wish to enable or disable the alarm notifications of that specific device, you simply need to insert your AiroSensor and slide it to one side. In environments that have cooling systems that are not always running during certain hours of the day, such as during the night or weekends, this accessory would be ideal.

Using a SwitchHolder, you can use the AiroSensor as well as the AiroSensor T. The SwitchHolder comes with a variety of labels so that you can choose symbols that match the functionality of your SwitchHolder appropriately. It is important to note that the sliding motion does not disable the alarm function. The data logging will continue, so even if you forgot to switch on your alarm in the morning, you will still be able to see the current temperatures.
